Tasman Roofing (2008) Ltd (the Contractor) shall not at any time be liable for any instructions given by the client (the Principal) that may contravene Local Authority rules and regulations At no time does the Contractor take responsibility for any delay in proposed work commencement and completion due to adverse weather conditions or unavailability of materials All work done, materials and equipment on site which form an integral part of the contract, remain the property of the Contractor until payment in full for all work done has been made The Principal must pay the Contractor the price quoted for the work, plus the price of any authorised extra products and/or services, by the date required; which is the 20th of the month following date of invoice for Principals of a commercial and business nature, and no later than seven days following date of invoice for private entity Principals of a domestic, non-commercial nature At all times payment for work done as per the terms applicable, are governed under the NZ Construction Contracts Act 2002 legislation and any subsequent amendments, and may override these terms and conditions, as per the laws of New Zealand Upon default of payment due the Principal agrees to pay any and all costs of collecting overdue amounts payable to the Contractor under this agreement if those amounts are not paid to us within the agreed time frame, as above, and to pay interest calculated at 4% per month of any amount unpaid under this agreement up until the date it is paid in full, commencing from the day after that amount is payable The Principal may cancel this agreement in writing and by the payment of an administration fee of $500 (plus GST), at any time prior to the Contractor commencing production of the service/s and/or supply of the product/s.
